A: Yes. Shari began dipping and selling her unique style of berries in 1989 in Sacramento, CA. She continues to own and operate a production facility and four retail locations there.

Q: Where do you find such beautiful berries?

A: We primarily use berries grown in California’s strawberry fields from Southern California in the winter, and from the Northern Watsonville area during the summer. In the past, during extreme weather conditions, we occasionally use berries from various other sources including Florida and New Zealand.

Q: Do you ship overseas?

A: Unfortunately no.

Q: How do you keep your berries from melting?

A: During the summer months and for shipments to some parts of the country during the winter, we add ice packs along with insulating materials to our shipping containers. The berries arrive fresh and cool.

Q: Do you inject your berries with juice? Your berries taste SO fresh.

A: No, we do not inject our berries. The reason they are so juicy and fresh tasting is because that’s how they are naturally. Our special top quality berry variety is picked fresh in the California fields and rushed overnight to our production center in Sacramento, Ca.

Q: Do you only dip fresh berries, never frozen ones?

A: Correct. Our gourmet gift line of berries are always fresh dipped berries, and shipped same day to you~all year round~overnight~guaranteed!

Q: How long do the berries stay fresh?

A: Our staff at TBF go to great lengths to ensure that your order of gourmet berries are shipped out overnight the SAME day they are dipped. This way, you or your recipient will have time to enjoy them. We recommend that you refrigerate any berries that are not eaten the same day that they arrive. Try to eat them within 24 hours, (this is usually not a problem!).

Q: How many years has Shari been selling berries?

A: Shari's original company is celebrating its 20th year. (Shari tells people that she was 10 years old when she started the company!)

Q: My Mom is diabetic. Do you have a sugar free chocolate coating available on your berries?

A: Yes! For years people have asked for a sugar free variety, but until now there hasn''t been a great tasting choice. Try our delicious Sugar Free Gourmet Dipped Berries. We bet you can''t tell the difference between our regular coating and the sugar free, they are that good!

Q: How are you able to get berries across the country so quickly?

A: All of our berry products are sent overnight through a national shipping company to make sure they arrive fresh and in the best condition possible. When inclement weather arises, however, sometimes packages are delayed. We cannot take responsibility for orders delayed due to Mother Nature's temper!
